Hi, I’m Anca, a Perth-based photographer who has been preserving time with intention and care for over a decade.
To many, I’m simply Anca—but to my clients, I’m also known as a baby whisperer, a toddler’s best friend, and a trusted branding expert. I’m often described as a gentle soul with a natural talent for capturing meaningful moments.
I trained in photography at Curtin University and have had the privilege of documenting stories around the world, including in India, Singapore, New Zealand, the USA, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
My work is rooted in a lifestyle and documentary approach, allowing me to capture authentic, heartfelt moments across maternity, newborn, family, and wedding photography.
Beyond personal storytelling, I also work closely with brands and businesses to create powerful, personality-driven branding imagery that elevates their presence and turns marketing into meaningful connection—and sales. I want you to feel cared for every step of the way, from the beginning of your session.
I have a stunning hand curated wardrobe of the finest maternity robes and dresses. All my packages includes premium access to my wardrobe.
My maternity sessions normally take between 45min and 60min, and this includes enough time for roughly 3-4 dress changes.
Receive you digital photos within 72 hours from your session end time.
Newborn
Newborn sessions are special.
I preserve your newborn bubble. I am gentle and calm, and I want you to feel truly cared for; this tender time is so precious and I know what these postpartum days are like. My sessions are calm, peaceful and all about documenting these precious early days, where you connect and bond with your baby.
I come to your home where so it is easier for you.
Newborn sessions will take roughly 60min. I never linger around unnecessary, however I do not rush the session simply because I want you to feel relaxed, unrushed, and calm. We follow baby's lead. If bub needs a nappy change or needs a feed, we do so.
You receive premium access to both the newborn and maternity ladies wardrobe. I take care of all the details so that you can just enjoy this precious time.
I use natural prompts and a few guided natural poses so that you get beautiful photos of you spending quality time with your baby. I will also capture some natural moments of you changing baby, because these are the ones for the archives that you will want! I use a beautiful beanbag that all babies love. I will use the beanbag for some beautiful natural and safe photos for baby, I only use natural positions and allow baby to stretch and wiggle, these are the beautiful details you will want to hold onto. I capture the tiny feet, the tiny hands.
Family
Family sessions with me is all about creating an intentional experience where everyone feels comfortable and we preserve this precious season, because our little ones grow up so fast. I use prompts that encouragement movement. I use games and fun movement prompts for toddlers and kids. My sessions are described as fun and enjoyable by my clients.
My sessions for families are custom curated for each family, because families come in different shapes and sizes, and I never just use the same template for every session, each session is unique because your family's love and connection is unique.
My sessions for families will take roughly between 45min and 60min. Each session is specially tailored and custom to each family.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
I take care of all the details. From beginning to end, you feel cared for from the beginning.
I will gently guide you and prompt you the whole way through. You do not need to know what to do, that is my job.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel expenses are only included for locations that are within a radius of 35km from Alkimos.
Any distance further will incur an additional travel fee.
How long does it take to get our photos?
72 hours.
You receive your digital photos in a speedy turn around time of 72 hours because I know how excited you will be to see them. I will therefore be unable to give any sneak peaks because I will be very busy working on your gallery so that I can get it to you on time.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Yes, you give me a description of your dream location; and I will find some location options that will be your dream match.
